All done! Well mostly

Back in 2012 I remember posting about thinking if I could get anywhere near the standard of the Midget below that I found after searching online, I would be very happy.

Now in 2023 I have my own MG Midget to drive and enjoy!

Here's a short video of my first drive!

And another on the way to the pub!

There is still work to do as some things are not yet running right. I need to sort the hood out and I'll post an update about all the challenges I've had getting the car running well.

But for now the major work is done and I'm very proud.

  3. You sure can be proud of what you've accomplished! I started my project in december 1999...soon starting the final 20% of welding / metal work. I guess mine must be the longest car restoration project in history. Thanks a lot for documenting everything, this blog is really helpful to me :-)

  4. Thanks for documenting everything in this blog. I'm restoring my MKII since 1999 (probably the longest car resto project in history). Your blog is really helpful to me :-)
