The problem seems to be that the inner part is not grounded enough? I test further and will return when I have found a solution.Johnnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15855282289682869482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3349429868777005326.post-31275420452493792632021-10-26T16:54:41.089+00:002021-10-26T16:54:41.089+00:00I could be wrong about all this as it was 9 years ...I could be wrong about all this as it was 9 years ago I took this all apart!James Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05921197587855500693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3349429868777005326.post-57887724126625716542021-10-26T16:52:56.972+00:002021-10-26T16:52:56.972+00:00Hi Johnny,
Thanks, glad you like this site.
Sorry ...Hi Johnny,
Thanks, glad you like this site.
Sorry I haven’t finished the electrics rebuild yet. Waiting for a nice new steering wheel.
My understanding is that the horn circuit comes off the indicator part of the wiring loom.
In the eighth photo in the post shows the component that the indicators feed off.
Think there is a cable off the wiring loom that the connects to a nut on the inner column to complete the circuit which you can see in the third photo.
James Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05921197587855500693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3349429868777005326.post-8953220168623838982021-10-26T15:17:42.919+00:002021-10-26T15:17:42.919+00:00Hello

I had to put a braid between the outer tube and the inner one, then it worked. That's probably not the case, how did you do it?
JohnnyJohnnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15855282289682869482noreply@blogger.com
